Packed very efficiently into one (large) carton and delivered to our door by UPS. Very easy to assemble with no extra tools needed. Just be sure to have the corduroy cover in position ready to receive the vacuum/packed foam seat cushion immediately after you cut open the plastic bag holding the cushion because the cushion begins to expand right away.
Comes with 2 matching pillows which would be costly to purchase separately.
Solid sofa, looks great in the livingroom. Strong and well/sewn corduroy fabric covers the sofa. Looks like the company put a lot of careful thought and time into the design and into the packaging of it for delivery. (We actually had fun assembling it.) The back of the loveseat is narrow and not bulky as is the case for many showroom loveseats that we looked at before purchasing this online. Comfortable, but not soft. This is good, because over time any sofa is sure to get softer and a new sofa that is already soft might become too soft later, so this one is just right.
