I bought this bed a little hesitant at first because my son is a little older. 6 years old about 55 lbs and growing. It arrived in great condition. took about 2 hours to build with 2 and 1/2 people. It is very sturdy. I (160 lbs) have laid on it with him to read his bed time story. Seems to hold us both pretty well. My son loves it! overall, Im happy with this buy! Very Sturdy product.
