I purchased for our 3 year old for his first big boy bed. He likes it as well as our 5 year old. I am disappointed the step ladder steps are not wider, they hurt their little feet being so thin. Also there are only 2 step bars so hard for a 3 year old; We had to put a step stool at the bottom. Another disappointment, the slide is so if they dont wear pajama pants (or any pants) he cant slide down without getting slide burn . I feel a plastic slide wouldve been a better design choice. not happy at all
