When your quality of life deteriorates to the point where you cannot walk thru the stores, go to festivals, fairs or to do basic shopping for groceries then it is time to purchase one of these scooters. It was very easy to assemble, the battery comes charged so you are ready to go. I have a small SUV and this scooter had about 4 parts that can be taken apart so it fits well into my trunk area. The ride is smooth, the controls are so easy to use, the scooter turns corners just fine.the basket is adequate if you are just doing a little shopping, you might want to invest in a basket that attaches to the back if you need more room for items, but that is a separate purchase. Getting the scooter parts out of the car is not that difficult particularly if you have someone to help you. Forgot to mention that the ride is smooth and there is a dial on the steering column to adjust the speed. Great little scooter for the money!!
