Was concerned about pattern and color but both turned out to be fine. Very light muted creamy Beige background w deep charcoal outlines of leaves and flowers colored w blueish/grey and greenish/taupe. From a distance look like tones of grey on beige. Swivel is great. Comes w matching back pillow but I replaced with grey throw pillow. Looks well made and a lot more expensive looking than it was. I would buy more if I needed them! Husband a big guy and he sat in one the other day and put his feet up on the other one, did not complain (which is unusual)
