The directions on putting this together were abysmal, no words, just pictures with vague arrows that asked you to just you know, put it together. We had to take apart the headboard multiple times because it wasnt immediately clear in the diagram that it very much matters what orientation the side pieces are on. It is a two/person job.
More annoying than that however was the fact that headboard didnt actually connect properly to the frame because the bar we were meant to screw into the wood was welded poorly and at such an angle (think like 45 degrees instead of the 90 degrees it very clearly should have been) that the headboard could not fit against it. We managed to force two screws to stick on either end and are just planning on being as gentle as possible with the middle because there was no way to get it attached.
All that aside, it was a pretty cheap bed, it looks nice, and it is serving the purpose we needed it for, so theres that. Basic.
