This is a kind of velour stretch, so its a nice fabric. We have cats who like to scratch the couches and chairs even though they have some fantastic cat trees they should be scratching. Ive added slipcovers to the furniture to avoid more damage.
Anyways, this one was hard to put on, but once I pulled it over (it would have been better if it was about 5 inches wider), it fit well. It looks good. The little styrofoam sticks are included to keep the cushion section in place. Those work well, too.
It looks much better than I expected it would. I was really mostly concerned about protecting the sofa underneath and would have been satisfied even it it didnt look good. These look actually good. the room looks just as good as it did before. The couches I have are really nice, too/ not cheap stuff (which is why I cared about protecting them).
Anyways, Im pleased with this. One thing to note: the instructions show the tag that says BACK at being in the center of the back. It definitely was not at the center, and I had a little bit of a difficult time figuring out the center back. When youre working with a sofa/length cover, its a little unwieldy. Knowing where the center back is when youre starting/or at least knowing what is what, would have been helpful.
Still, Im pleased with it. Recommended. Comfortable and high quality!
