If you are used to diy projects assembly is no issue.
Just dont over tighten!!! Dont use power tools or you will strip or bend the metal its not very thick but if assembled correctly its quite sturdy. The ladder is uncomfortable to climb for kids it hurts their feet. You can cut up a pool noodle to help with that.
