It took my 21 year old son a long time to put together (5+ hours) but after it was done my 10 and 8 year old boys really love the bunk beds. It is sturdy but sometimes it wiggles when the 10 year old is on top but that is mostly because he is acting like a monkey -not literally of course! The only con is the ladder, its really painful on the feet because its metal. Im going to put something on the poles to cushion them. I would recommend the bunk beds and Im rather hard to please. LOL
