I wanted a lift top coffee table and purchased this based on the fair price and positive reviews. Im happy I did. My boyfriend surprised me by putting it together. He said it came with all the parts/tools and it took him about an hour. Make sure you read the dimensions before you buy. For my space, the size is perfect. When the top is down its fairly low but the lift top raises up to the couch seats which is what I wanted (see pics). I saw in the reviews there are visible screws and took someones advise to purchase white caps separately to cover them. It makes the coffee table look more expensive and I bought them for under 5. The table seems sturdy and I like the storage inside and underneath. My only advice when you lift the top and put it back down, use both hands on each side otherwise it gets stuck on one side and overtime could begin to weaken the hardware supporting the lift top. Excellent value for a coffee table under 100.
