This bed is perfect for my very small room. Im 56 and I can almost stand up straight under it. It reaches just above my shoulders, so I need to bend my neck. I have standard 8 ceilings and I have about 3ish feet of head room, just enough to sit up straight and no hit my head. Assembly was very easy and the build quality is superb. If you are looking for a loft bed, this is the one.
