This tent is very easy to set up. Im in my thirties and a single mother of two small ones, and I was able to set it up all by myself in less then 30 minutes. I was a little nervous since I did not do a trial run of setting it up before our camping trip nor did I even open the package until we were at our campsite. But luckily this tent is not complicated. To be honest if youve ever set up a 2 man or 4 man basic tent, this should be a no brainer just by looking at the lengths of the poles, and there are only three. Granted having another adult probably would have sped up the process however it is very possible to set it up with just one person. Also, I am only 53 so you shorties can do it too! I just highly recommend buying a heavy duty tarp to place under to create reinforcement for the bottom of the tent since its not thick and I can foresee it tearing easily if a rock is directly under it. And as other reviewers have mentioned depending on the weather of where you will be camping, the always open back window may be an issue. I would suggest buying a cheap tarp or if you dont care about looks then a large trash bag and clip it under the top cover to close it.
