The item is just as portrayed. It arrived on time and was fairly easy to assemble according to my husband. The color was beautiful and it came with no damage. My disappointment was that our size mattress is too wide for it. I felt deceived by just having the 54 dimensions. I would have appreciated a simple description without needing to measure my matress such as full, or king size platform bed. Other than that it was okay.
