I read through the reviews before the purchase. I agreed it was a cheap feel but thats good enough for the price. The slate could have been polished better. It cracks and there was wooden flakes everywhere. One issue is that the bed frame was not perfect match for a queen size mattress. A huge gap on the both sides was notice and I can the bottom of the storage drawer through the gaps....
