Ive been sleeping on this bed for a week, its quiet, sturdy, and the upholstery feels soft and looks good. For the most part it was easy to put together (I did it alone just fine). I would recommend it.
Assembly:
- Instructions were clear and easy to follow, all parts were clearly labeled.
- One square pipe that needed to be inserted in another square pipe was bowed out on one edge, making it impossible to insert. A solid whack with a hammer corrected this.
- One screw hole on the bottom of one of the drawers didnt align correctly, so I drilled a new hole and moved the screw over a bit (there are enough screws there already that it didnt even seem critical).
- One slat was a bit splintered, but not enough that it really mattered.
Notes:
- Does not have an attachment point for a headboard. I think one could be screwed on if you wanted to drill into it.
- The full size is slightly bigger than my mattress. I think this may be so when the bed is made, the blankets tuck under and create a smooth silhouette.
- Drawers are on wheels that roll on the floor, not tracks. They work great on my laminate, I dont know how they would handle on rug.
- There is a keyhole slot for a catch that secures the drawers in place. Its a little awkward to handle, but you can just remove that part if its too annoying.
Ill update if my opinion changes, but this is a nice bed for the price and Im perfectly happy with it.
UPDATE:
Ive been sleeping on this bed for about 6 months and I still like it a lot. I moved to a new home with carpet and the drawers roll on it just fine. I also discovered that its possible to take the bed apart into two large pieces for moving. Neat!
Good solid bed
