I purchased this pedestal frame to keep the cats from hiding under the bed. But if you use a box spring like I did, then you neednt use the enclosed supports and under the box spring is a neat little area for storage. I also like the additional height afforded with the box spring. The frame was super simple to assemble taking less than an hour. I love the deep gray fabric, coinsidently it matches the fabric on my daybed. The deep gray is neutral so you can decorate with any palette. I have a full size and the box and mattress fit perfectly on top of the frame. On my old metal bed frame I would always bang my feet and legs but not so with this frame. I cant say enough good things about this frame. Im very happy with my purchase.
