I have put together so many pieces of furniture over the years I have lost count. from entertainment centers to outdoor furniture, etc. i do delivery and its always in pieces for me to do myself. i must say this should NOT have been difficult but the directions and the way it was designed was not very convenient. the order to place the pieces and the types of hardware was truthfully not wonderful and i think i would have rather paid to have assembled. which i NEVER say. at the end of the day, it is functional and looks like the picture. I used for a table near the fireplace where the TV is to hold the modem and some other electronics and also place some decor on it to make it more appear more purposeful and not just a random piece to hide wires.
