Update: I contacted the customer service department at and and they are replacing the part that broke for me
I cannot recommend this bed. I went by others reviews and Im always sceptical of those 1 star reviews and judge myself but not were they right. The pine is just not right for a loft bed.. One of the supports that the bed slats sit on, cracked when my 40 lb child got on the bed.
