I love the look and feel of my new chaise lounges. I purchased them to replace some deck furniture I had that was rusting and falling apart. I expect these new cast aluminum chairs to last a lifetime. They seem very sturdy, and I have several other peices of deck furniture that are cast aluminum which do not rust. I am also very happy with the cushions on these chaise lounges as well. They are very thick and comfy, and do not go flat when you sit or lay on them. There is a good amount of cushion, and you do not feel the metal underneath.
The only reason I gave these chaise lounges 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because of 2 things:
1. The middle feet of the chairs do not reach the ground, incidentally these middle feet also do not have adjustable feet on them. Even when the bottom feet are adjusted as far in as possible, the middle feet still do not touch the ground. I suppose I will have to buy some thick rubber feet to go on them to help them touch.
2. The instructions for assembling these chairs are terrible. Not all of the parts represented in the parts list are actually labeled in the photo. Also for instuction 1 you do not want to fully screw in the arms, as you will need to separate them later to get the connecting bar and wheels attached. The word tires was spelled as tyres. It took me a little bit to figure out that meant the wheels!
After you put together the first one, the second one goes much faster. All in all these are good chairs, and I am excited to enjoy them on my deck this fall! :-)
