Enough head room for daughter to walk under ( at least for another few months).
Lots of room under bed, we added chair and small cabinet.
I t could be more study; I'm a little concerned as as she grows and becomes more active.
W have 8 foot ceiling but there's still plenty of room for her head.
If it was more sturdy I would give it a 5 star. A child should not "play in the bed" and be jumping around anyways.
