Made with only the finest Hardwood from the agent orange hardened jungles of Vietnam! But seriously its a $300 bed and the only non solid wood is in the headrest in-between the slats and even then it has a 1/16 veneer on both sides. Time with tell how well it hold up but I put it together with red locktite and it seems solid as a brick.
