It is not very sturdy, and not the easiest to assemble but my 17 yo managed to put it together. Granted, it took him good two hours but he did not want any help. It looks very good. The headboard is soft enough. I put 12 mattresses on a king size
Bed which is shorter than the queen. King is 41 at the headboard and queen 45. I like the soft cozy feel as well as the modern design.
