Ive had this bed for probably 4 or 5 months now and love it. The material is very nice to look at, doesnt look like its cheap or anything. Super sturdy, doesnt squeak or creak at all. Its quite light so I dont need to remove my matress if I want to rearrange. I did have a friend help me put it together, but that has less to do with ease of construction and more to do with my ability to put furniture together, Im just super clumsy and once put a hold through an Ikea table, so no I no longer assemble alone lol
