Definitely better than the old fashioned bed frame. My husband sat and watched as I assembled...thinking he would have a good laugh. Surprise!!!! It was so easy to assemble..all the parts were labeled..tools included...great quality. The wood is not the cheap stuff but good quality sturdy wood.
