I put 1 star for easy to assemble because it comes basically assembled. That sounds great, but when you have to drag the box up 3 flights of steps and the delivery guy literally dragged it down the sidewalk, you realize some assembly would be preferred if it could come in 2 boxes.
Still, 4 stars overall because it works great.
PS: the base of the bed has 2 metal loops to hold the mattress in place that do make bed skirts a problem.
