My first good thing to say is that the weight limit stated is most likely a recommendation. I have an 11 inch mattress on it and I know thats larger than recommended as well. But that and myself on it puts the weight on it well over the limit mentioned and it holds nicely. Its sturdy, can be put together in about 30 min with 2 people and affordable.
