There is a VERY strong chemical odor on this bed. My child and I couldnt stop coughing after being around the newly assembled bed. My daughters eyes and nose were dripping, and she said her mouth and lips were burning. She has red spots on her face and chest, and she says theyre burning. From what I understand, this type of furniture can be treated with formaldehyde, and her symptoms appear to be those associated with formaldehyde poisoning.
