Very nice looking, seems sturdy. The frame needs to have slats all the way down the bed, including along the foot rail and head rail. They stop short six inches away. If you want to sit on the foot of your bed, if not using a box spring, the mattress sinks down below the frame. Pillows at the top slip downward.
Also, watch your toes (ouch)!
We are adding strips of plywood along the top and bottom.
