Sturdy, easy to set up, affordable; why buy anything else?
Note // I purchased the contemporary version of Platform bed (full).
This is a great frame. I am 200lbs and love to dive onto the bed to read or sleep, and it doesnt even creak or stress in anyway. It easily supports myself and my partner, totaling 300lbs together.
It comes in a compact box that will have you guessing if it is big enough, but it turns out to be just right! The longer sides of the bed come folded up, and require no assembly. You will essentially just affix the long sides with the top and bottom, then insert the slats, and be ready to go.
It comes with a nice tool to put in the screws, which I kept and put in my toolbox for future use.
The frame and slats are so much better than you will find with other beds that have flimsy balsa wood cross beams. Those crack and bend and are not a very good long/lasting frame. This one is better.
One tip // once you affix the long and short sides of the bed together, it will be time to screw in the middle slat. This comes before inserting the other slats, which dont require screws. You might find that the middle slat is not long enough to fit into both sides snugly. But you need to put the screws in both sides and work them together to tighten up the frame. THEN the rest of the slats will fit snugly.
All in all I am 100 satisfied and would recommend this to anybody
