The instructions are completely useless, but with a little ingenuity and assertiveness the chair will go together. Albeit with a fight. Dont tighten all the bolts and screws until they are all well seated. Holes dont line up perfectly, but with a battle or two the chair will ultimately submit to assembly. Perfect for what we needed
