I spent days loo for an attractive, solid wood bed and this hits the mark. Assembly was easy, but took a little over an hour by myself. Just make sure the right tools.
Only two issues. One, they packed the bed inside a chocolate box, so I received the wrong color (Im okay with that, though). Two, the doesnt extend high enough, so it is easily hidden by the mattress (12 for me) and pillows.
