With three kids, Ive built a ton of items. (Including two other bunk beds the same week from Max Lily brand that were phenomenal!)
BUT THIS!! I have never built anything as frustrating as this junk.Extremely difficult to assemble
1 - the directions I received had items mislabeled, so you had to guess where each piece went.
2 - They combine about 15 steps into a single image and no description. You again just have to guess orientation and the order.
3. ALL of the hardware was dumped into a single bag, but they want you to use all the various lengths in specific spots. Good luck.
4. They included additional parts that must have been added later as supports for the shelf - because any mention of them is not shown anywhere in the directions.
5. The is poorly cut and where there are supposed to be holes or slots, was full of shards and splinters so you could not connect the joints. I had to taken a sander to clean up each grove or hole.
6. The for the drawers is terrible and splits when you use the provided screws.
7. The hardware on the sliding drawers is as cheap as it gets. They are not smooth to open and close.
8. Be prepared for multiple hours of assembly.
9. The finished built is covered in holes and silver bolts instead of using a white capped hardware.
I got half way through and was so frustrated by the quality of this bed that I filed a return - but of course - you can only return it in the original boxes after hauling it back to UPS (which is practically impossible because It fit together one way like a puzzle in the box)
I cant believe this has so many high reviews and leaves me heavily questioning their validity.
DO NOT BUY.
