I purchased these chairs to serve as a temporary fix since we couldnt decide on a permanent choice. Exactly a year and a few days later, and they were still being used daily when the leg broke off at the welds. The leather had also started to peel away from the back of the seat a few months ago. They were fine for a temporary or rarely used seat, but know that they are NOT a permanent fix.
