Top quality office chairs can go for over $600. This isnt in that league, but its a perfectly good chair at a reasonable price. Assembly was straightforward (took about 20 minutes with a 6-year-old helping). It seems sturdy and the raise/lower mechanism works smoothly. Personally, Id prefer thicker seat cushioning, since I can feel the front edge cut into my legs when I sit forward (its rare to find a chair that doesnt do that to me). Id also prefer the ability to lean back a bit further than this one can. The one I received had a small stain on the fabric back (see photo). Still, Im overall satisfied.
