OK for a Guest Room - But... Defective Frame, Wobbly Head board, Flimsy Drawers
The Good: Its super-affordable. The Mid-century modern design is cool and the Emerald Green is a lush, beautiful color. Its also well-packaged to prevent damage in shipping. But its something for a guest room/occasional use. It doesnt feel sturdy enough for a bed thats used on the daily.
The Bad:
- Expensive shipping. The package was also really-heavy, arriving by FEDEX (making it near impossible should you wish to return it)
- The instruction manual was in conflict with the assembly.
- The left and right mattress frame center support brackets are supposed to face up so the that the cross-member can be dropped into each side and secured into place. However, ours were welded upside down making it impossible to assemble in accordance with the assembly instructions (Prepare to improvise).
- The drawers are wire-frame with an MDF front covered in fabric. There are no supports other than the wheels that keep the frame off the floor. Its really flimsy.
- The top two drawers will be blocked if you use nightstands.
Overall: You get what you pay for. Well we paid $209 (excluding shipping) and yes we are a little disappointed, but overall, itll do. We also didnt discover all of the issues noted above until the bed frame and headboard was almost fully assembled.
