very stable. The style and design are adorable. The chair is a little too low to be perfect for my desk but that was my fault so make sure you actually measure your desk or table. I just looked at the pictures from other reviews with the chair next to a desk and thought it looked fine. But I do love the chair. It is comfortable. It was described perfectly by seller.
