4.5 stars. Im used to my bed frames squeaking. Im a bigger guy, so I was surprised that this bed doesnt make a peep! It wasnt difficult to put together by myself and it looks simple and elegant. Definitely think its a great price for a solid wood frame.
The slats are 3.5 inches apart, which is a bit larger than Id like for my foam mattress. I wish they had an option for 2in slats. And the Velcro for the slats is nice so they dont move. But if I sit on the edges I can hear the Velcro squish which is a minor annoyance.
Overall I really like how sturdy the bed is and I dont have any major complaints.
