I did not purchase this as a seat anyone would be sitting in frequently. If you are looking for something comfortable, this is not it...but, I just wanted it as a statement piece to help tie my room together. It does that well, so I am pleased. Itll do for short term sitting, but I wouldnt want to hang out in it long term
