This chair looks exactly as pictured, however, the assembly was extremely difficult. There were pieces that didnt fix right, so I was banging things in with a hammer at one point. Took me about 30 mins. Also, it is not cushion-y so if that is why you want it, get another chair. That being said, its perfect for me because I need a harder chair for my back!
