Assemble was easy; follow the directions, and its a cakewalk. I did it by myself one lazy Sunday morning, probably to me about an hour cause I wasnt rushing. Mounting on the wall requires two people, however. 3 would be idle. My buddies and I installed it on the wall, and it wasnt an issue cause two people held and one person drilled and screwed it into the stud. I would suggest mounting this stand into the stud if you can for added support and reassurance. I have a 3-year-old, and she bounces off everything, so the added support made sure it wont come collapsing on her foot.
Perfect compliment to a 65 - 80 wall mounted TV with all cables in the wall for a clean clutter free installation.
This product had far superior cam type fasteners, and l type support brackets and the wall mount bar and adjustable brackets for attaching cabinet to this bar are top notch and made for easy and fast installation.
The LED lighting makes it easy to see what is going on in the cabinet, yet is a subtle nightlight.
The front door is hinged to lift up, but will not stay up, so it is awkward and difficult to arrange equipment in cabinet. The solid lower front cabinet facing board can interfere with the remote and control box communicating and I had to put a spacer under the cable box to lift it up to center in the opening to be able to see the indicator light on it and for remote to work consistently.
The final install looks very elegant with very clean line and, no cable or wires can be seen.
Pretty easy to assemble, about 1.5 to 2 hours. But important thing is that there were no chips or defects or marks of any kind. Once assembled it looks very nice and looks much more expensive. Highly recomend
