Sitting on it as Im typing! Great bed I got the Twin bc my room is already small ha! It only took 30 minutes to build, nothing has broken like some other comments have said happened but I also dont bounce on my bed like a maniac to cause anything to break. also the drawers under the bed is so helpful I put my Christmas wrapping paper down there, storing some shoe boxes, a couple neatly folded blankets and pillow!! Love this bed.
The platform bed came very cleverly packed, in a much smaller box than I expected. The instructions were excellent, the parts well/labeled, and there were even extra parts and bolts in case I needed them! The bed is very sturdy and looks great. It came with a double row of slats which are plenty strong to support the twin mattress. The storage drawers roll on the floor and secure to the bed, so both sides look clean and neat. Overall, a nice product. great for guests
This bed looks aming now, but required an aming number of bolts. Liked that they were all Allen wrench style. We have yet to sleep on it (still remodeling) but its solid, and should be good. Seems sturdy enough
We bought the full size frame and my husband said it took a while to put together due to the many parts, but not difficult. We added a 5 metal box spring to increase height because it would have been too low for our liking otherwise. It does minimize how much headboard shows, but we were okay with it. The drawers are plastic, not wood, but sturdy enough. You need to lift and unhook to open and close the drawers. For now, my MIL has been using it and she said its been fine, no issues. Thank you.
Had a hang up with some of the hardware provided and had to get longer screws but all worked out. The drawers were not as sturdy as I thought theyd be so they cant hold much weight being thin plastic on the bottom rather than wood. Other than that this bed is aming and worth every penny
I ordered this bed based on the high customer review score. Only afterward did I read that it appears to have significant design weaknesses and is prone to frame collapse. I was disappointed but I formulated a plan to improve the bed, based on information gathered from other reviewers. Im adding my information to help others.
Upon inspection prior to assembly I noticed a new design for the center, side to side cross beam. I have included a picture and circled it in red. This piece is somewhat evident in a few other reviewers photos but it seems very different from the design which so many experienced a collapse with. The center leg is unlikely to bend as it is supported top and bottom, as are the legs on either side. From what I can see from the ones which collapsed, this appears to be a significant improvement.
I assembled the bed and found it to be extremely rigid with no movement or squeaking. None. It feels very solid. I also used an idea suggested by another reviewer; I laid down 1x4 planks, cut to 54.5 inches in between most of the bed slats (see photo). This prevents the standard slats from flexing too much and distributes weight along all three frame support bars. Note that the included bed slats do appear to be a little weak for the job. I wouldnt trust them nor the plastic fittings they are attached with. The extra wood planks should easily compensate for this and prevent them from getting over stressed.
The roll out drawers with plastic liners are likely not super strong nor durable. Im sure I will have to improve them at some point also. However, for a bed in this price range, everything works and it looks nice and most importantly it feels very solid. Did I mention no squeaking
Lastly, this is probably overkill but I have ordered some reinforcement legs (see photo) to support the North/South center beam at the midway points between the cross bar and the headboard and footboard. Probably not necessary as the wood planks should prevent the center bar from getting too much weight, but it was cheap insurance.
4 stars so far because with the 35 of reinforcements I made, I believe it is strong and solid. Better drawers and bed slats would make this a 5 star purchase.

Looks great
Absolutely love this. Trouble with the screws during assembly. Took two of us a couple hours but love the look and very sturdy.
Manufacturer Improvements have been made. Cautiously optimistic with a simple reinforcement.
