We bought this for our 4-year-old's "big boy bed."
PROS:
- Great color. This is reminiscent of items that we looked at from Crate&Kids or Pottery Barn Kids. The navy color is consistent throughout and looks sharp in a kids room.
- The trundle does not have extra hardware for the drawer, so there is less to assemble (see CONS for additional note about the trundle)
- The bed is very sturdy and the pieces fit together well. If you are familiar with assembling IKEA furniture, you'll be able to handle this (note: I do think IKEA directions are more straightforward, but I'm also used to them)
- The price. The price on this was much, much better than what we saw elsewhere for similar items. Free shipping was also much appreciated.
CONS:
- The unfinished wood slats that support the main bed are visible after the bed is assembled. This is a minor complaint, but the design would be better if there was more a lip on the side of the bed. My daughter has a PBK twin bed with a similar slat support system (rather than a box spring) and there is a small lip on the top of the side support beam that hides the slats.
- The trundle can be hard to put back in place because it does not have hardware to guide it (such as a track). This is minor, but worth noting.
Overall, the CONS listed above are minor and should not discourage you from jumping on this great value for your kids room. We are VERY happy with this bed.
We bought this bed for our daughter after first ordering another one. The previous one cost more and came damaged. We tried contacting the company for replacement parts (head board, footboard AND trundle were all cracked) , however we had to jump through one hoop after another. We finally gave up and returned the bed. Decided to go with this one and I am SO glad we did. It came well packaged. Not one part was damaged or even scratched. It was easy to assemble and had absolutely no odor to the bed. I felt so much better knowing my daughter was going to sleep without inhaling harmful chemicals like formaldehyde! This bed was also less expensive for us! It's very durable and well built. I will be searching for more products in the future! Thank you for this great product!
We bought this bed for my 9 yr old daughter and she loves it. My husband said it was fairly easy to assemble and it's sturdy. Very pleased with this product!
We bought this bed for a grandkid/guest bedroom. We were very happy with our purchase. The bed came quickly and packaged well. It is heavy so be aware of that. It’s not a one person lift for sure!! Assembly was clear. My husband accidentally stripped a bolt and he contacted the company who quickly sent us a replacement. Very good customer service!
I would recommend this bed and from our experience this company.
We bought this bed and matching dresser for our six-year-old grandson. Had a bit of a glitch upon receiving it. I called the number on the packing slip on a Sunday. Would you believe the owner answered?!? We texted back-and-forth and resolved what we needed within 10 minutes. In this day and age to have excellent customer service is like finding a unicorn.
Their price is hundreds under what other sites are charging for the identical bed. Definitely buy it from .
Love that this bed has metal slats. The ones with wood are not nearly as sturdy. Great product, great price and the greatest company ever!
We bought one of these beds in May for my daughters room in the Rustic Honey color and it has worked out so well! The color is so pretty! So, we bought 2 more for our upstairs loft room in Weathered Black for my son and my 3 step sons (ages 11, 10, 10, 9) and they are amazing! The color is awesome too! The 3 drawers at the bottom have lots of space too. I highly recommend these trundles. We bought the Olee Sleep 6 inch ventilated milti layered memory foam mattresses for my daughter room in May and the Zinus 6 inch green tea memory foam mattresses for the boys beds. All the kids say they are very comfortable!
We bought almost 2 months ago. Dreaded putting it together with all the pieces. Definitely not from ikea! Went together relatively well, but a few pieces were damaged in shipping, and several were not labeled at all which made assembly harder. One of the pieces had holes that were not used... letter F pictured (no holes in the instructions for F). Very confusing. See photos. Wooden slats are sturdy and do not give, so a softer mattress is probably better to purchase with this. We bought a foam topper mattress and it ended up being more firm that being on the floor even.
We assembled the bed and trundle. The most obvious problem is that the casters supplied with the trundle portion of the bed are only 1" in height. There is a cross support down the middle of the trundle bed that protrudes an inch from the bottom. This would drag on the floor if you have hard floors. Because we have carpet, we can't roll the trundle all unless we get larger casters (wheels) than the ones provided. In the picture above, you can see the problem. A portion of the frame would drag on the floor if you tried to move it with the current wheels.
In addition, every component part is distressingly poor quality. Everything is of the softest wood and shabbiest plastic venir. We are very disappointed because the bed looks very attractive in the pictures. However, up close, it is terribly cheap looking and, even with careful assembly, not sturdy. The components seem to be mostly soft wood, "woodgrain" plastic and plastic venir. I would not recommend that you order this bed.
We appreciate that the company did work with us on an earlier conflict. They were prompt about refunding a $100 delivery charge. We posted a positive review as a result of that interaction, but specified that we could not review the trundle bed because we had not yet put it together. Though we are very disappointed, we will try to make what use we can of the bed. We have invested all this time the bed is so heavy an complex in all of its parts that it would be very difficult to return.
We are very happy with this bed. The instructions were a little confusing at times while assembling, so we had to redo a couple of steps. One of the pieces came cracked, but my husband was able to fix with some gorilla glue and a clamp.

The trundle portion cannot roll. The casters are too short and ALL materials are cheapest possible

Good quality
We are very happy with the quality of craftsmanship and sturdiness of this trundle.
