Be careful with frame holding parts together in box

Be careful when you open the box the outer frames ( witch you dont need) are extremely sharp me and my husband cut both our hands badly trying to remove them to get to pieces and parts. Other then that very easy to assemble.

    Well made.

Product is perfect for heavy duty storage with shelves that bear heavy loads without bowing.

    Good cabinet for the money!

Overall, the cabinet is a good deal and suits my purpose. It is very strong and stable, and relatively easy to assemble. The carton is heavy and awkward to carry, so have an assistant (and maybe a hand truck) to help move it. The contents was very well packaged, including caps along all four sides to protect the contents, a very nice touch. The caps are throwaways, and are not parts of the cabinet itself. A couple of notes: For some reason, not all of the parts/panels are labeled (hence the reason for four stars). You need to rely on the relatively spartan instructions and pictures to discern which parts you have to use. Case in point: there are four shelves, a top, and a bottom. The movable shelves are labeled I in the instructions but there are no labels on the actual shelves. The only parts with a label are the doors (obvious to the most casual observer), and the back and side panels. The cabinet top panel is identified by an H shaped cutout on the edge. Install that in the wrong place and you will need to take it apart again! I dont understand why every part cannot be labeled. That said, unpack the contents (a big area to layout all the panels is recommended), examine and identify each piece (I put a piece of tape and the appropriate part letter on those parts without one), be sure nothing is damaged (I found a couple of small bends on a couple of shelves; easily corrected with pliers), and count each piece of hardware (it came with a few extra screws and shelf locks). I recommend having a long Philips 2 screwdriver to get in a couple of tighter spots), and an adjustable drill to speed the assembly process. Dont overdo it with the drill if you use one. You can strip out the screw holes and they wont tighten. My advise would be to use a drill to start and snug the screws, then finish tightening by hand with the screwdriver (dont make them sign, as my grandfather used to say!). An assistant comes in handy, as you will need to reorient the cabinet on its side and back to facilitate assembly. Overall, I am very happy with this cabinet and highly recommend it. I hope my commentary helps you with yours!

Nice cabinet and what I expected!

Based on some of the reviews I was hopeful this cabinet would arrive undamaged and it was received in great shape! To my surprise the entire border of the packaging was lined with large aluminum C channels which offered super protection and security. When I first discovered them I assumed they were part of the cabinet itself lol Moreover the pieces were lined with both styrofoam as well as Masonite panels for even more protection. Assembly was pretty straight forward with a few details that required a little more study but everything lined up perfectly and only a Phillips head screw driver was required for assembly. Its not real heavy and seems to be better suited for storing lighter weigh items as opposed to heavy boxes or tools. I have it in my kitchen as part of the industrial theme Im going for. With those limitations Id recommend this product!

    Assembly Nightmare

I ordered this product to use as a pantry storage for food items because I have limited kitchen cabinet space. The item itself is very durable, spacious and worth the cost. I wouldve rated it 5 stars completely had it not been for the poor assembly instructions. First, the instruction manual indicated that all of the parts would be labeled with letters except for the 2 doors. That was not true. None of the shelves were labeled which caused a major problem when assembling the bottom and top parts. We didnt realize the mistake and why screw holes werent lining up until after the cabinet was almost done. It was frustrating to have to take apart sections to redo them correctly. The pictures on the instructions are also confusing.

    Worth the 200

I was concerned about some of the reviews about packaging and assembly. Packaging: aming. There was no way it could come damaged. My husband was so impressed with how much extra precaution was put into the packaging. Assembly: took my husband 1.5 hours to assembly solo. Said it was sturdy and was impressed with some features.

    Installing cabinet

When I open my purchase I seen there was damage to the product. The assembly was kind of are cause there was no labels just to the main walls to put together thats its. But other then that its was not bad for a file cabinet.
