Beautiful grey color. Its on the lighter side. I wanted to use the bed without the legs but you cant attached the central pole without adding legs. Not sure how long the middle legs will stay. Ive had it for less than a month and so far so good. The bed has a 12 inch memory foam mattress on it and has been used for vigorous activity. Has remained standing so far. So fingers crossed!!
The assembling definitely takes a lot of time. I divided it into 2 days. Overall, probably took 4/5 hours for one small person.
I love the look and style. functionality is what is required, when you live in a home built in 1928, with not closets storage. Great product for price. love the storage drawers under bed, for bed linens, and anything that will fit.

All the parts and fasteners were clearly labeled / each packaged separately. We had the bed assembled in less than 2 hours. I would highly recommend this product. We bought this for a little used guest room in full size. Came quickly via delivery. No broken, missing parts. Everything came packed in the headboard. Once you lay everything out and properly sequence the parts (about 15/20 minutes) the rest goes relatively smoothly. Total assembly time / 2 ? hours. The parts are all very well labeled, The parts list is precise and has pictures of each part as well as how many of them. The nuts and bolts are vacuum packed. Plus they give you an extra package of screws, bolts, nuts, etc. The directions are easy to read and very precise. Following them step/by/step was a breeze. Im 76 years old, just had cervical spine surgery (2 weeks out from surgery) and I had no problems assembling this, with a little help from my wife. Nothing too heavy. All the tools are included (hex key allen wrench, plus small wrench for tightening). Nothing else needed, other than a scissors to open the vacuum package pdf nuts/bolts. I admit it is time/consuming, but the end product really pretty good for the money. Beautifully made, decent fabric.
We bought this bed for our guest room, and my Mother in/law has been sleeping in it for a few weeks now. The bed was very easy to assemble and feels quite sturdy.
I love this thing. We bought this probably about 5 to 6 months ago, and I have all good things to say:
/The assembly instructions were pretty much perfect. Every part SAS clearly labeled, every set of screws and such were also labeled. The instructions were clear and concise for every step, and we never had any question about what we were assembling. This was AWESOME, since it can really slow you down and be really frustrating to do this stuff with terrible direction.
/The bed also came with a separate set of hardware labeled as extras, and was also clearly labeled. Very cool!
/The bed looks exactly as it is pictured, and is very nice quality.
/The frame parts are all metal, so I have a feeling itll last a very long time
/The drawers have lots of room, I still havent filled them up yet. This, if course depends on how many clothes you have, but theyre plenty big.
The bed does take a while to put together, but only due to the nature of the design. The instructions make it very easy, even if it takes some time.
My only gripe, and this a tiny gripe, is the drawers can be a little annoying to lock into lock into place. You have to lift up, push in and line up with the hole, and let it drop into place. But this doesnt affect how much we enjoy all the other aspects. And as time goes on, Ive gotten used to closing them easier.
