Great product! You must follow the instructions and not tighten all the bolts until the entire bed is assembled. I suspect this is why some consumers are having the middle leg break off (it will be crooked if you tighten other bolts and then attempt to tighten the middle ones). My two/year old son loves it!

I was so excited to set this bed up, it looked great in the pictures. It only took a couple hours to put together which was nice. The directions were easy to follow. However the parts are made very cheap. The metal frames bent after just a couple nights on it. I was hoping to have this bed for a couple years at least. Going to Home Depot later to use wood to rig something up so that I can still have the pretty grey headboard, sideboards and footboard. As pretty as it is, unfortunately I would have to say I do not recommend to people. This is just too cheap and not durable .
We purchased this bed frame for my daughter three months ago, and she was delighted to have a more grown/up looking bed frame in her room. All was well, until she noticed a suspicious sound when turning over and we lifted the mattress to have a look at the situation. There is a center rail that goes lengthwise down the middle of the bed and it helps to support two rows of slats. Under that center rail are two support legs. It turns out that those metal legs are only spot/welded in two tiny places to the T/bars that connects the center rail sections. Over the course of several months, with the shifting that happens when my daughter turns over in bed, those legs gradually started shifting/leaning to one side until they broke altogether. Such a tremendous disappointment! Now my daughter cannot sleep in her bed tonight, and I need to come up with some sort of a solution to support that center rail tomorrow. What a shame that shoddy workmanship ruined what would otherwise be a great bed!
This bed arrived in a big heavy box, but was easy to bring up to assemble in the room. Easy to put together and the parts are sturdy. I paired this bed with a 14 mattress, so I dont need a box spring, the mattress just lays on the slats.
It is really nice looking and was just what I wanted; however, the support legs busted off two days after assembling the bed. Going to attempt a return if it doesnt cost too much. I would not recommend this product.

After a few months of sitting on the bed, the flats started splintering when I sit on it! I have at least two that are broken. And I am not a big girl, either. I am wondering if the colder weather made them stiffer? Either way, it is very disappointing as that is what holds the mattress up and now it is dipping

BUT, once it was complete and I put the mattress on it, I stepped on it to hang a shelf above it and I heard it CRACK! I know I probably shouldnt be standing on it, but, I did. Two of the slats cracked (the long way). I wont be standing on it again!
