The bed was very easy to move from door to bedroom on ground floor. We raised the bed in the vertical position as easier to flip after fitting the 4 legs. It took us about 20 mts to assemble and 2 persons can easily do it. The motor is very silent and worked as described. Even though it works well with 12inch mattress, will later shift a 9inch one from another bedroom. For the price this bed is excellent.
Very happy with this purchase. It is very heavy. Big sturdy leg supports. The base mattress sits on is thick and firm. There is no noise at all when feet or head is raised or lowered. Perfect for our high end foam mattress. Fits perfect inside the headboard and footboard frame.
Bought as a split king packagethese came with a rip in one, and all the wires flapping around (twisty ties there, but not holding the wires) Motor was Real Loud on one with rip. Got replacement same day as our mattresses (yes we waited 3 days for them) / still loud motor for foot massage. NOTE: This does NOT hold your mattress on the side, so itll slide all over when you raise or lower your bed. Im very disappointed with these. My husband has cancer and I have fibromyalgia a bone disorder, and Id hoped these would help us, I was WRONG! Theyre Super heavy to move around, difficult to get under cause youll need to fix the wires so they dont get tangled when raising/lowering bed, the mattress just sits on top at zero gravity (unless youre a heavy enough person) so the mattress moves all over the place, and I dont like that the remote doesnt light until you tough a buttonso you cannot see which one youve got in the dark. I cannot recommend these to anyoneI have a huge regret spending all we had saved, on these awful frames the hard mattresses sold with it. Please be aware before you buy!
I bought this mes for my mom after her stroke and it was working great she loves the bed!!! But the remote broke the main chip broke and now her bed doesnt work!! Now she cant sleep and her body aches because she cant sleep like that but what gets me is THAT I CANT FIND A REPLACEMENT ANYWHERE!! I called for the warranty and they need the something off of a tag that my dad had removed and tossed out now I dont know what to do cause we cant afford a new base .
Legs bend. Motor stopped working after 2 years. Enjoyed it while it lasted.
Update. Changed my review to 5 stars bc the company sent me a new control box and the bed is working again. Great customer service.
So far Im impressed. I paired this with a gel memory foam mattress and it worked out great. Primary use is for my guest room. Or when Im not feeling well. Some slight imperfections in the covering fabric but I cant complain. I hope it will last for years to come. Its heavy but SUPER easy to assemble.
Ive only had it for about a week so I cant attest to its longevity, but so far Im very happy with the base.
My only critiques are that the vibration could be stronger, and the motors themselves should be positioned closer to the middles of the base. I think the head vibration motor in particular is a little high.
Also, I really wish both sides of the bed had USB ports. When facing the base, only the left side has USB ports.
All in all, Im very happy with the base so far.
