It was super easy to put together and follow directions was delivered fast and my son loves it. I did put a swim noodle and decorative tape (both a dollar from the dollar store) to add to the ladder since most reviews said the ladder was uncomfortable but it only took a few mins to add and will be just fine for my heavy kid. Love these beds incense there is space on the bottom which saves room and the bed isnt too tall or too short Well worth the purchase.
For the price, its a pretty good buy. There was room underneath to put another twin frame and mattress, as well as a side table. As far as height, dont expect anyone older than 5 to be able to actually stand under it. If youre looking for a grown up loft bed, this is not for you. This went perfectly in my kids shared room, and they both have their own space. For the price, Im not worried about longevity. Im confident it will serve its purpose for the few years we need it to, if not longer. Should buy.
My daughter has a small room, we had a loft, but it was to high. This bed, not only gave her room under her bed for a play/storage place, but now she feels more comfortable handing sleeping on her bed. It seems rather sturdy, as her dad I have sat on it. The bed rails are high enough to give some resistance from falling, but not so high they are hard to work with.
The only thing I would note, is the ladder does need a bit of padding. Very thin. I dont fill like its weak, just thin so hard on the feet. Other then that, for the price the room, very happy. Its also easy to dress up with things like lights underneath for a fun comfort reading spot or play spot. Once we added lights, one strain of white lights with some owls, it just glowed under there.
As for age: I would say, per/teen younger would probably do very well, older, if they want a desk or something, not so much.
So, again, very happy, would buy again if needed. Perfect and Sturdy.

Three Stars. My son has a bunkbed similar to this and his is maybe 6 pieces total. Thinking this would similar I ordered one for my daughter. Wrong! There were hundreds of pieces. Once I got some help to put it together we put it together within an hour or so. But if you are looking for something to do yourself I would suggest ordering something else. It seems like a nice bed//now that its together.

Its short enough theres no chance of hitting your head on the fan. Its maybe 4 feet off the ground. My kid doesnt use the ladder but hes 12

Make sure you read the measurements. It is short. One piece was bent and flaking, but it fit together okay. Beautiful!!
