I had to purchase a new frame for my sons bed and we ordered this one. Once we opened the box all the parts were zippered into the headboard which made it very easy to sort and what a great idea! My husband and son (13) put the bed together in less than an hour. So easy! My husband even told me that I needed to write a review! Would definitely recommend
Im so glad we found this bed for my daughter. Its just tall enough for her to have a little fort underneath but not too tall for her room and not too tall for us to lay her down and still tuck her in. Really sturdy and was really easy to assemble. And we bought a 5 inch memory foam mattress for it and it fits perfectly and we dont have to worry about it falling through the slats because the slats are wide and close enough to one another.
Im writing this review a couple months late but the bed is still standing and my 3 year old loves it! We even added some old Christmas lights under it and it looks aming. She has no problem getting in and out of it at night and its perfect for saving space because the bottom can be used as a little hideout or to store toys under.
My toddler great granddaughter needed extra room. The Dorel junior twin fit the needs. She can place items under the bed and its not a high ladder to climb but just a few steps. She feels so grown in her new room. Sturdy, easy to assemble and great value.
Just finished building this full sizepro tip: one of the lower sideboards is special and has holes for the ladder in it. Put that on the ladder side or youll be drilling new holes. I also almost ran in to the problem with the first slat splitting the board that the slats rest onI didnt have a drill extension to do a pilot hole, but I used a Cclamp to hold it while I screwed it in by hand and while I saw minor splitting on one, the other 3 were successful. In mine, the bed supports that people have complained about were not laminated pieces but are single long pieces of wood. They were a bit warped and dont feel substantial enough for the long run, so I will be replacing them with either a more solid type of wood or possibly something metal. The ladder entry is also a bit tight for anyone except for really little kids. Ill probably have to expand it in the future.
My son loves it, though, and when you cant do a higher loft bed this isnt a bad choice. The space underneath is indeed pretty tight, but were putting cubbies underneath it with a twin mattress for guests and a reading area. It would also be great for increasing storage space in a room.

Awesome bed. Easy to put together! Extremely sturdy. You can make motion in the ocean without being detected. Looks great. Id highly recommend.

The screws C were too big and cracked the head and foot board planks. Also missing a screw A
