This is the cutest bed for a little girl! The 4 star is due to a few chips in the headboard upon arrival. I was able to just face that part towards the wall so it was fine. The pieces didnt fit together as smoothly as I had hoped, but its very sturdy and well made!
This is the perfect big girl bed. My daughter said it looked like a princess bed, which is exactly what I was hoping for! It fits a standard size mattress and box spring/ there are some gaps but its not a big deal. I have slept in the bed too and its comfortable and study and not at all squeaky.

We got 2 of these for our girls at their grandmas house. It took us roughly 1.5 hours to put together both beds with 2 pretty handy people and a drill. This is a great quality bed. I knocked one star off bc as previous reviewers mentioned a normal size twin mattress is a bit small for the provided space, but nothing major and definitely not a deal breaker.
This bed is heavy, well painted, and fairly easy to assemble. It looks like a gorgeous antique from another time, and was the perfect addition to my daughters room remodel. We researched many versions and brands, and this was the most classic, timeless piece, with good reviews, fast shipping, and we love it. Trust me, this is the one!
Overall the bed was a good price and is pretty. I bought the twin white bed for my 9 year old daughter. The issue I had was with putting it together. The directions messed up screws 4 and 5! It took me forever to figure it out on my own after trial and error! I shouldnt have to play with the directions and figure out myself that the screws were not correct! Plus theres an included wrench that is supposed to be used for screws 4 that the directions didnt even include I had to figure that out myself. So the bed itself once properly put together appears good but the directions are not well written. Anyone trying to build this bed if you for the same directions screws 4 and 5 are switched.

This bed is beautiful! Nice and simple but not plain and boring at all! Set up was super easy and fast. My husband set it up alone in about an hour!
