    Plan to touch up

Buy some white paint. Many pieces were copied right out of the package and many chipped during assembly. For the price, its OK.

    Beautiful bed. Worrisome bolt quality

Does the job we need it to. Fits perfectly in the area. But we had a hole that was not fully cut out for the bolt, and it held us up for over two hour to resolve issue. Once completely put together it looked aming and was sturdy but after two days of use by my 8 year old, we found two heads of the bolts on the ground completely broken off. The bed was still sturdy, but this is a little worrisome considering we are only in 3 days of building the bed. Will call company to see how we can resolve issue.

Solidly built with a few glaring design flaws.

Not bad. Pretty solid. Really only two flaws, both of which concern the ladders. 1. Hardware is provided for two ladders, one on each side, as seen in the picture. However, there are pre drilled holes for only one ladder. It is not possible to mount the rungs for the other. 2. As others have said, the rungs are too narrow. As most people dont get into bed with shoes on, its an error to make rungs out of thin rods that dig into your feet. Making wider slats would have been much more sensible. Then you have to climb OVER the railing. Poor design. Overall, I would not buy this item again. It has potential, but was not as great as it easily could have been.

Damage and rust right out of the box

One side rail had paint flaking off and was rusted right out of the box. One vertical post had minor dents out of the box as well. Assembly was labor intensive as expected. Bed is sturdier than expected and fits the purpose. Would have returned it but it was needed for guests arriving soon.

    Well its up.

This was something else to put together. It took about 4 hrs with me my husband 2 of ours kids helping off on. After putting it together, we said never again would we buy anything like it. Some of the directions are lil backwards cause we felt that if we had started a different way vs following the directions it would have been easier not have taken so long. I noticed as I was tightening the bolts that they can easily become stripped so be careful. Be careful of the bars that go across for the mattress to be on cause those are a pain to put in have them lock into place. Also please be aware of how u putting in the side rails for the ladder to go so the holes can match up or else u risk the pain of having to unscrew one side to reverse flip it, in which we had to do that was us following the directions to a T Once it was up, the kids starting to go up down it, it is a lil wobbly makes a lil noise, but nothing that is unbearable which is understandable due to the material. I think its pretty good tho. I would recommend if u definitely dont mind putting all those pieces together think its going to work out pretty well considering I bought it for my step kids for when they come over on the weekends.

    Easy installation Cons

Okay. Ive got mine setup with a twin mattress on top and a sofa on the bottom. Im going to jump right into the Pros and Cons. Pros: 1. Inexpensive 2. Packaged well 3. Easy installation Cons: 1. The top bunk is really high up. I mean Really REALLY HIGH UP. 2. Using the thin step ladder is hard on your feet. 3. If you dont nail it to the wall, its really wobbly from side to side. Front to back is okay, but also wobbles.

its easy assembly with decent instructions

Took about 2.5 hours total time to put together, but that was with TV distractions while assembling the main pieces downstairs before moving upstairs. All in all, its easy assembly with decent instructions. My only complaint is that the rails are held to the posts with 1 inch screws. This does not make it unsafe, but if you pull on a corner, you will have a slight rhombus as the other end stays in place. I would recommend two people to move it just so you dont weaken the attachment points.

I was sent 2 of the same leg posts with ore drilled holes, I had to manually make jokes for this to work or spend hours and days getting a replacement. Once bed was finally put together its a decent bed, it does wobble when daughters climbs up.
